Leaps And Bounds is a creative movement program for pre-school and elementary children that focuses on the elements and concepts of dance. Children are presented with movement experiences sequentially, beginning with teacher-directed activities and moving through guided explorations to creating. This program is designed to be developmentally appropriate for each age group and integrates the most recent brain research about the importance of movement in learning. The activities in the program include breath work and stretching, movement games, international folk dance, yoga for children, improvisation and dancing with assorted props and rhythm instruments. Quality music created especially for children will be integrated into the activities. All classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive in nature.

Rhythms And Rounds is a creative music program for pre-school and elementary children that focuses on the elements and concepts of music. Children are presented with music experiences sequentially, beginning with teacher-directed activities and moving through guided explorations to creating. This program is designed to be developmentally appropriate for each age group and integrates the most recent brain research about the importance of music in learning. The activities in the program include singing, body percussion, playing instruments, moving creatively, musical storytelling, folk dance, puppetry, drumming, listening and visual art. Quality music created especially for children will be integrated into the activities. All classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive in nature.

Class Preferences:		Pre-school/K - 15 participants, 45 minute classes 1st/2nd grade - 20 participants, 45 minute classes 3rd/4th grade - 25 participants, 60 minute classes 5th/6th grade - 30 participants, 60 minute classes

Space Requirements:		A large, open space for safety Hard floor preferred; carpet acceptable

Equipment:		Provided by Tree Frog Productions

Fees:		$75 per hour (1 hour minimum); travel reimbursement

Policies:		All fees due at the time of each class
